about the induction course
What will I learn on the induction course?
Over four classes, you’ll explore a range of essential yoga poses, including standing postures, twists, seated poses, gentle backbends, and introductory inversions. Along the way, you’ll also gain insight into the Iyengar Yoga tradition and its thoughtful, supportive approach to practice.
The classes are designed to be engaging and appropriately challenging, but you’ll be guided every step of the way with individual support and encouragement. This course is perfect for building confidence and preparing you to move comfortably into the Beginners classes.
Our aim is to spark your enthusiasm for yoga while helping you develop strength, stamina, muscle tone, and a greater ability to focus — all in a friendly, welcoming environment.
