Lara Speroni

Lara has been teaching Iyengar Yoga for over 14 years. She has therefore gained valuable experience in teaching a variety of people with mixed abilities and a wide range of health and fitness levels. Today she cannot imagine her life without the practice of Yoga.

Lara was introduced to Iyengar Yoga in 2000 and from the first inspiring class she never looked back! Her yoga journey is never ending and forever challenging, yet stimulating and rewarding. She practices daily, attends weekly classes and continuously studies with Senior Iyengar teachers from the UK and India. Starting from 2013 she has been four times to the mother Iyengar Yoga Institute in Pune, India, to study under the Iyengar family and their teachers. She has been truly lucky to come across very committed and generous teachers to whom she is sincerely grateful. When teaching, Lara endeavours to respect her teachers and stay true to the source.

Lara gained the UK Iyengar Yoga teaching certificate in 2007 and she now holds the Intermediate Junior 3 certificate, equivalent to Level 3.
